Terms & Conditions
That Girl Friday Last updated: April 2026
1. About These Terms
These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by That Girl Friday ("I", "me", "my"), operated by Jess Price as a sole trader based in Manchester, UK.
By booking or using my services, you ("you", "your", "the client") agree to these terms.

2. Services
I offer the following services:

  • Your Right Hand: strategic support, including regular calls, async support, and accountability

  • Girl Friday VA Services: virtual assistance and administrative support delivered by me or my team

Full details of what's included in each service will be confirmed in writing before work begins.

3. Bookings & Agreements
All bookings are confirmed via email. Before work begins, we'll agree:

  • The scope of work

  • The fee and payment terms

  • The start date and (where applicable) minimum commitment period

For Your Right Hand, the minimum commitment is 3 months, after which the agreement rolls monthly.
For VA Services, hours are agreed on a rolling monthly basis unless otherwise specified.

4. Payment
Payment is required upfront before work begins.

  • For retainer services (Your Right Hand, VA Services), payment is due at the start of each month before that month's work commences.

  • I will issue an invoice, and payment is due within 7 days of receipt or before the work period begins, whichever is sooner.

I accept bank transfer (BACS). Payment details will be on your invoice.
Late payment: If payment is not received, I reserve the right to pause work until payment is made. Continued non-payment may result in termination of the agreement.

5. Cancellation & Termination
For retainer services (Your Right Hand, VA Services):

  • Either party may end the agreement by giving 28 days' written notice.

  • Notice should be sent via email to jess@thatgirlfriday.co.uk.

  • Any work completed up to the termination date will be invoiced and payable as normal.

  • If you have paid for a period that extends beyond your termination date, I will refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis, unless work has already been completed or scheduled.

For Your Right Hand (minimum commitment):

  • If you cancel within the initial 3-month commitment period, the remaining fees for that period are still payable.

  • After the initial 3 months, standard 28-day notice applies.


6. Refunds
Due to the nature of the services provided, refunds are not offered once work has commenced.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, please let me know as soon as possible so we can resolve it.

7. What I Need From You
To deliver the agreed services, I may need:

  • Access to relevant accounts, systems, or platforms

  • Timely responses to questions or requests for information

  • Feedback or approval within reasonable timeframes

Delays caused by late or missing information from you may impact delivery timescales and do not entitle you to a refund or discount.

8. Confidentiality
I will treat all information you share with me as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties without your permission, except:

  • To my team members who need it to deliver your services (they are also bound by confidentiality)

  • Where required by law

This obligation continues after our working relationship ends.
You also agree to keep confidential any proprietary methods, templates, or processes I share with you.

9. Intellectual Property

  • Any materials, templates, or resources I provide remain my intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Work created specifically for you (e.g., copy, documents, systems) becomes your property once paid for in full.

  • I reserve the right to use anonymised examples of work for portfolio or marketing purposes unless you ask me not to.


10. Liability
I will provide services with reasonable care and skill. However:

  • I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the services.

  • My total liability is limited to the fees you have paid for the services in question.

  • I am not responsible for decisions you make based on my advice — ultimate business decisions remain yours.

I do not provide legal, financial, or tax advice. Where relevant, I recommend consulting a qualified professional.

11. Working With My Team
Some services may be delivered by members of my team rather than me directly. Where this is the case:

  • I remain your main point of contact

  • I oversee all work and am responsible for its quality

  • Team members are bound by the same confidentiality and professional standards as me
     

12. Communication
My standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm (UK time), though I am often flexible.
I aim to respond to messages within 1-2 working days. I do not typically work evenings, weekends, and have limited capacity during school holidays, though I will let you know in advance of any extended absence.

13. Changes to These Terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on my website. Continued use of my services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
