Wanna see how we've helped other business owners, just like you?
Here you go...

Client:
Suzy - The Technicolour Project
Brief:
> I want my website to better suit how my business looks now
> I need to send regular email newsletters
> I need some graphics for content
Results:
> We restructured the website, so any visitors knew how to find exactly what they were looking for. Updating graphics, fonts, and changing all blogs into helpful information pages.
> We created two different email newsletter templates, with sections that could easily be updated each fortnight, all within Mailchimp.
> Based on Suzy's ideas, we created a bunch of branded graphics sized perfectly for the relevant platforms they would be posted on.

Words from Suzy:
"Execution was my biggest challenge, and along came Jess to become the other half of my brain, and to help me move from thinking to doing. She works so intuitively that whether the problem is with stuff, or with me, she always, always helps. My business has overcome challenges and grown in ways I know I’d never have achieved alone… and I have laughed a whole lot along the way. Self employment isn’t lonely with a business bestie like Jess!!"

Client:
Dr Tom Nicholson - Neurodiversity Expert & Speaker
Brief:
> I need a website
> I can't keep on top of emails and my diary
> Social media is integral to my business but I don't know what to post
Results:
> We created a new website on Squarespace, implenting new branding from Danny Townley & creating copy that spoke to Tom's key audiences.
> We provide weekly support managing Tom's inbox and diary, ensuring leads are responded to and clients are invoiced.
> We implemented a social media strategy for Tom's existing LinkedIn and created an Instagram account to reach new audiences. We also assist Tom with blogs, to help improve his website's SEO and position him as the expert within his industry.
Words from Tom:
"Working with Jess has genuinely been an absolute joy over the last few years. She is a breath of fresh air personality wise who is quick to challenge when appropriate whilst also knowing when to celebrate and support at other times. Her breadth of skills (going well beyond that of a typical Virtual Assistant) are incredible and genuinely have been vital to the successful running of my business. Jess' honest, professional, and down to earth approach mean that working with her is an absolute breeze. I couldn't recommend her work more highly."
Client:
Kate Oates - Leadership Coach & Yogi
Brief:
> I need some accountability to move my business forward
> I need some direction regarding which areas of my business I should focus on
> I need to think about short term revenue, but long term strategy
> My systems and processes don't work together, and my website doesn't tell people what it needs to
Results:
> We have weekly accountability sessions where we re-establish Kate's goals, priorities and ensure she stays focused
> We have day-long in-person brainstorming sessions. These started by understanding each arm of Kate's business, the profitability & joy she gets from each, and how we can bring more of that into her business long-term.
> We drilled down into the numbers to figure out where Kate could focus her energy to increase short-term revenue, whilst working on longer-term projects for business growth together in the background.
> We're working on consolidating Kate's systems, updating them to reflect Kate's current business model, and getting rid of software that no longer serves the purpose. We've re-designed Kate's website to just refresh what she already has, and speak more to her target audience.

Kate's IG post following our first session should tell you everything you need to know...

Client:
Karina Taylor - Personal Stylist
Brief:
> I need new branding & photography
> I want my website to be updated to reflect my latest offering
> I want to nurture my email subscribers
Results:
> We updated Karina's branding, to give a more elevated look, including some social media templates, and arranged a photoshoot with photographer Sarah Hannon to give Karina a bank of images to work with
> We fully overhauled Karina's Squarespace website with new copy, new images, and new branding. Restructured to speak to her ideal audience and making Karina's service offering clear and concise.
> Using Mailerlite we created a newsletter template, and provided 12 months worth of themes to be used for blogs & emails. We set up some automations to nurture new subscribers and tailor the content to their interest.
Words from Karina:
“Jess is friendly, easy to get on with, and she and very quickly understood what I needed. She managed a complete website facelift for me, from the wording right through to introducing me to the photographer who shot the images, and I couldn't be more pleased with the result! She has supported me with various IT tasks since. If, like me, you're a small business owner or solopreneur who lacks time and/or technical ability, save yourself a lot of stress, and call Jess!!"

> We do monthly newsletters with themed blogs, tailored perfectly for Cass's audience and SEO goals

Project:
Mum Uniform
> The business that started it all… My villain origin story, if you will.
> During the first lockdown in 2020, whilst furloughed with a toddler and a key-worker partner, I decided to launch Mum Uniform. After entering a competition run by Lucy, formerly of Locket Loves who was looking for a budding entrepreneur to help kickstart their business, I launched in March 2020 and it blew up.
> Once back at my corporate job managing a fleet within a huge commercial property company, I handed my notice in on my first day after furlough and Mum Uniform continued to grow from there.
> Over the course of three years, myself and my amazing assistant Liz, did everything ourselves. Designing, creating, marketing, packing, customer service, accounts, web design - The lot.
> I had a successful subscription box, designed jewellery, planners, colouring books, leggings made for mums (with pockets!) and more. After a while I began helping other startups with their businesses, and enjoyed this so much more than running my own product business… So, Girl Friday was born.
